Way back in the day (probably around mid 2017), I created a plugin called Flovidy. One of my friends, who used to be an affiliate marketer, was annoyed by a Wordpress plugin called easyazon. The plugin allows affiliate marketers to localize Amazon affiliate links (so, someone from the Netherlands would get a link to the Dutch Amazon store, and someone from the US would get a link to the US store)....

Weird title, eh? Think about it though… It’s actually quite unique. With static sites - like this one - people generally go with any of the following options: Cloudflare Pages Github Pages Gitlab Pages Netlify … There are many, many more. All of them provide a CDN out of the box. In case you don’t know, a CDN is basically a network of computers and will help you serve your content closest to your visitor (very generalized, but that’s besides the point)....

So, I have been freelancing on and off for the past 5 years. I have seen a lot of projects and worked with both technical as well as non-technical people. Over time, I managed to set up a system that seems to work well for me, though I will definitely edit this page whenever I find a better way on how to handle things. Underneath, you will see how I handle new freelance contracts that I take on....
